Meeting date changed in November! San Luis Obispo Gun Owners (CRPA) Chapter Meeting

This month’s meeting meeting will include:

• A drawing for a KleenBore  multi-caliber pistol cleaning kit. Everyone in attendance will receive a drawing ticket.
• Pizza, bring your appetite.
• Those who bring two (2) or more items to donate to the ALF (Atascadero Loaves and Fishes) Food Pantry will receive one additional drawing ticket.
  • All food collected will be donated to Atascadero Loaves and Fishes (ALF) Food Pantry.
  • Canned soup, vegetables, and fruit
  • Canned tuna and/or other meats
  • Peanut Butter
  • Spaghetti and noodles
  • Macaroni and cheese
  • Rice
  • Beans
  • Low-sugar cereals
  • PLEASE, NO GLASS ITEMS

• Tracy will give a talk on what we can expect for our meeting in 2026.

Meetings are held from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at North County Republican Headquarters, 7357 El Camino Real.

The November Meeting has been moved up 8 days due to Thanksgiving. The November meeting will be on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. The speaker for the meeting is TBD.

There will be no December meeting due to Christmas.

A question was asked in the 10/22 meeting about transferring Glocks to another family member after the ban goes into effect. Here’s an excerpt from “The Reload” by Jake Fogleman published on September 16, 2025:

“…the new restrictions would take effect July 1, 2026. The measure would not impact guns Californians already own, nor would it govern private sales. Police officers and military personnel would be exempt from the sales ban.”
