Greetings SLO County Gun Owners,
Thanks to our volunteers, our booth at the Midstate Fair was a success! Our gross take for the fair was over $10,500. We sold out the XD9, took in three times the cost of the 10/22 and nearly 3 times the cost on the Second Amendment flag. On the Henry golden boy we took in over four times the cost. Included in those gross Numbers were 22 new memberships to CRPA and one renewal. No less important was the fact that we handed out over 600 of our chapter’s business cards with the QR code linking to our chapters website.
As a result of our efforts at the Midstate Fair, we’ve been invited to have an informational booth at the Atascadero friends of the NRA dinner Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Colony Park community center 4 PM. Thanks to Jim Muhall of Rooster’s Firearms for that invitation.
In addition, organizers of the Creston rodeo September 14, 15th, 16th and 17th, stopped by our booth at the fair and we’re excited that we intended to have a booth at the rodeo. I’m in the process with Alicia Brewer from headquarters in securing our spot at that event. We need volunteers for both events. So keep an eye on our website and be sure to attend our next meeting Wednesday, August 23 at the Elks Lodge in Atascadero for more information.
Best regards,
Tom Nisbet
